Welcome Gabriel and Adam!
Two new lab members joined ERL working on soft and environmental robotics
ERL is pleased to welcome Gabriel Maquignaz as a new PhD student. Gabriel's research will focus on the fusion of soft and aerial robotics, with the main goal of developing agile aerial robots capable of navigating cluttered environments. His work will leverage soft materials for collision resilience and functional morphing.
Additionally, the ERL is excited to welcome Adam Seewald as a new post-doctoral researcher. Adam's research will concentrate on robotics methods for early pest detection, specifically aiming to develop and test robot-based systems for collecting environmental DNA and detecting pests in vineyards.
